Kalia's 7th Birthday Tea Party

I just wanted to share a few of my favorite photos from Kalia's 7th Birthday Tea Party! The placemats and "menus" were free printables I found online, and my mom made the cute toy cupcakes. I used little picture frames (from Michael's dollar bin), with a photo of Kalia and each girl for their place cards. Peekin' On Pickin' - Kalia's Room

Hello, friends! I unintentionally took a verrrrrry long break from blogging. I hope you're still there! I realized that I haven't shared any photos of our new place. We moved in January, and are still in the process of decorating and settling. Kalia's room is the closest to being complete, although I'm never truly finished decorating! A few of her furniture pieces could use a fresh paint job, and I would love to find some more flower pins for the lampshade...but I have some bigger priorities at the moment. We found out that we're expecting a BOY! We are trying to decorate the nursery, and I'm working on coming up with a gender-neutral playroom design. I will try to photograph our progress, and share little tidbits with you. In the meantime, I would love to hear any advice you might have on raising boys. It's all new to me!

Grace's Place

Isn't this little girl's room inspiring?! It just puts me in the decorating mood. Not that it takes much to motivate me in that department, but I'm just in love with this space! I love that chandelier, the vintage pieces, and color choices - such as the blue used on the armoire, against the pink. Great combo! There isn't anything I don't like about this space.
